This update brings three additions to events: a complete activity log, location support, and image uploads on the dashboard.
Activity logs
When someone disappears from an event, the question is usually the same. Who removed them, and when? Until now, there was no way to answer it.
Every event on the dashboard now has an activity log. It captures the significant moments in an event’s life: when it was posted, when attendees signed up or were removed, when the time changed, and when it was archived.
Every entry carries attribution, so you can see exactly who performed each action.
Locations
Where an event actually takes place has always had to live in the description, or in the heads of the people turning up.
Events can now have a location. That can be a Discord channel, a physical address, or free-form text. A voice channel for a raid night, a street address for a meetup, or a landmark only your community would recognise.
Image uploads
Uploading an event image has always worked in Discord. On the dashboard, you had to host the image somewhere first and paste in a URL.
You can now upload event images on the dashboard, the same way you would in Discord. Uploads support more formats than before, including webp.
Animated images remain available to workspaces with an active Premium membership.
